Shop For An Inexpensive Car

Cheap Cars Video

Cars are a symbol of power.  Private lots and huge car collections are the fantasy of many celebrity watchers.  A better option could be an inexpensive car for some.  It's doesn't have to be a clunker just because it doesn't cost a lot.  Fun can be had with a less expensive car.

A used car purchase can save a lot of money.  There a much less expensive top model cars, at least when compared to the new versions.  High quality used cars have come to be called pre-owned.  These pre-owned vehicles have even managed to pull some long time new car buyers into the used car market.  Consider top model cars.  A Mercedes or Lexus is so well built that even 10 year old cars can still be in excellent condition.  In fact, many people have generations of car buyers in their family who always purchase higher end models that are used.Remember the chauffeur in “Driving Miss Daisy”?  He always bought Miss Daisy's second hand, luxury cars.

There are also some nice, low cost new cars.  The Hyundai Elantra is a quality car under $12,000.  Then there's the Civic, from Honda, weighing in at about $15,000.  That car lasts a long time, and gets great gas mileage.  Cheaper cars are also generally less costly to maintain, and they don't require premium gasoline.

There are even relatively less expensive luxury cars.  Audi makes luxury cars that compete with Mercedes and Lexus, but generally at the lower end of the price spread for like models.  Nobody beats Audi as far as engineering.  A less expensive luxury sports car is the Audi TT.

Of course some people want cheap, cheaper, cheapest.  They don't care if the car is held together with chewing gum and wire.  Teens often buy this style of car.  This type of car is good practice for a life of car care, and it gets the job done.  Be careful because an cheap cars can be busts.  It may not seem like such a deal when it won't start on a cold winter morning.
